Program
Our team faces a competitive schedule against top programs in New England as part of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). Our players embrace hard work, continuous improvement, and teamwork each day, guided by our school motto, “Our Best Today, Better Tomorrow." Our varsity team practices are up-tempo and highly disciplined to keep athletes focused. Our coaches focus on skill development and systems of play, keeping expectations high. Many of our athletes continue their academic and athletic pursuits at Division I and Division III colleges and universities.
Coaches
Maggie Taverna
Maggie Taverna holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and master’s of education from Georgian Court University. She played four years at Boston College and was a member of the USA Under 22 team in 2006 and 2008. Taverna has coached high school hockey for more than 14 years, including seven years at Arlington Catholic High School prior to joining Dexter Southfield.
