Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse team competes in NEPSAC Class B and hosts the Dexter Southfield Prep Cup, which brings together top girls’ lacrosse teams from across the East coast. Our team embodies a relentless commitment to hard work, pushing ourselves and each other to continually improve and achieve our best. This dedication on the field translates into a winning spirit, where every practice and game is approached with a focus on achieving victory through skill and strategy. Equally important is our emphasis on being supportive teammates. We understand that true success is built on mutual respect and encouragement. The teams’ collective effort and camaraderie creates a dynamic environment where individual contributions are celebrated as part of a greater whole. Through perseverance and unity, the team exemplifies what it means to strive for excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. 

Sami Taylor

Sami Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College where she competed on their women’s lacrosse team where she was a two-time All American. After college, she coached and played overseas in England and moved back to the U.S. to take the head coaching position at Pingree School. She joined Dexter Southfield in 2014 and has grown the team tremendously since. Taylor started the girls' side of Laxachussetts where she is still the Co-Director.
